Created by Sustainable Connections, Kapow was an awesome event where 10 ideas to enliven downtown Bellingham were presented at the Mt Baker Theater in a Pecha Kucha format. Three of the presentations were selected that night to be funded and implemented in the city. A downtown ‘night market’ and large interactive shadow puppet installation were two of the winners. These awards are intended to feel grand and architectural for their size.
